Caini earned her Master's degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. With the use of DBT and a person-centered approach, Caini knows how to effectively help clients manage the ups and downs of intense emotions and lead clients to recognize the beauty of their authenticity, boost their self-esteem, and together build a life worth living. As an Asian female therapist, Caini hopes to empower cultural minorities through a social justice lens by meeting them where they are at. Additionally, she specializes in treating relationship trauma, low self-esteem, emotion regulation and bereavement. Walk with Caini in the journey to self actualization. David Zhang holds a MA in Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. He utilizes an integrative approach that incorporates theoretical frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Multiculturalism, Mindfulness, and is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). David has extensive experience working with clients addressing issues such as depression, anxiety,  self-esteem, cultural identity, and trauma. Furthermore, he is experienced in both individual and couples therapy. David is dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and productive environment, guiding clients as they embark on their therapeutic journeys.

Tasha completed her MA in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. Her experience includes working with individuals and couples experiencing a myriad of issues including substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, grief, depression and bi-polar disorder. Tasha is a person centered counselor who is trained in psychodynamic, acceptance & commitment and cognitive behavioral therapies. Tasha allows patients to examine their experiences at their own pace and on their own terms to inspire patients to reach their own conclusions and make their own choices as they move forward. Cultural competency allows her to design unique therapeutic interventions values her patient’s individuality.

Malene received her Master of Professional Studies degree in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute.  Seeking to support individuals struggling with anxiety, loss/grief, co-dependency, depression, and interpersonal connections, Malene connects art making, meditation, and deep breathing to develop a deeper awareness of what is happening within one's mind and body.  Life is an experiment, and Malene encourages clients to operationalize "experimenting" through the use of positive psychology and CBT.  The underlying goal is to reduce self-judgment, open the door to self-compassion, and access Peace at any moment.

Joana received her B.A. in Forensic Psychology & her M.A. in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She speaks English, Greek, & Albanian, and enjoys working with individuals who also come from diverse cultural backgrounds. Some of her areas of focus are anxiety, depression, trauma, & relationship difficulties. 

 

As a psychotherapist, Joana uses a client-led approach to structuring early sessions in order to cultivate a safe and comfortable environment. Through sessions grounded in trust and open communication while utilizing person centered and cognitive behavioral therapy, Joana’s clients are able to gain a deeper understanding of themselves by exploring their thoughts, emotions and behaviors.

Michelle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, behavioral concerns and more. Her passion has always been helping individuals and families through challenging times. She offers a safe space for participants to express themselves, explore concerns and learn new ways to cope with stressors. Michelle uses methods that help get to the root of the problem and encourage internal healing such as Internal Family Systems. Her tools include mindfulness, strengths exploration and self expression to help participants build self awareness, cope with stressors and face challenges.
